All the other kids at school wanted to be an astronaut or play for England, but I always had a passion for music and in particular, radio. So, despite the advice from the careers advisors, I decided to pursue a career in broadcasting.
I’ve worked at a number of radio stations across the south, and I’ve been very fortunate to spend the last 9 years at Spire FM in Salisbury where I host the weekday breakfast show.
I have experience in hosting large events including the annual Christmas Light switch on, Race for Life, and many Fireworks displays. The smaller, more intimate nights are equally rewarding and I love hosting the up close and personal gigs with emerging bands and artists.
My career highlights include broadcasting from the Great Wall of China during a charity trek, interviewing Robbie Williams for his new album launch and dancing on stage with Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood!
When I’m not working I like a game of 5-a-side, a round of golf, or a trip to St Mary’s to watch Southampton.
