At the weekend I hosted another mobile disco in Oxford for what was an excellent evening in Botley.
The theme for the party was ‘TV and Movie’ and everybody made the effort to come in fancy dress. The outfits ranged from the Pink Ladies in Grease to Wonder Woman and Where’s Wally! Most of the music I played was either from well known TV programmes or famous films and we had a really good laugh.
Naturally when I played ‘I’ve Had The Time Of My Life’ from ‘Dirty Dancing’ a number of the guests attempted ‘the lift’. I say attempted cos none of them actually succeeded! . . .
Not even the girl who was carrying a watermelon (yes, she was carrying a watermelon around all night!).
I’m looking forward to the next mobile disco in Oxford and I wonder if the guests will be carrying bits of fruit with them!
